Knowing that healthy mental health looks different for everyone, I have several ways that you can work with me through therapy, life coaching and fitness. I am a mental fitness life coach focused on women's empowerment. This is a space for all women, especially women of color to address issues that contribute to disempowerment. This is a carefully crafted safe place to learn to dismantle unhelpful narratives through mindset work, improving your self esteem through love work and living the fearless and courageous life that you design.
As a therapist, I seek to create a safe space to process issues that are causing distress in your life. I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Denver in 2010. I have experience providing individual, family and group therapy to children, adolescents and families. I have worked with children and adolescents in residential, outpatient, day treatment, hospital and school settings and families in an outpatient setting. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am a client centered and culturally aware therapist that strives to meet the individual needs of each client.
I am also certified to teach Zumba and D2GSOCAFIT to help support a natural way to address mental health symptom and build community.
